STAFF

Executive Director
Lindsay has served as Executive Director since April of 2023. She brings with her a wealth of experience in the special needs nonprofit world, having dedicated 13 years to Little Light House, working both directly with the kids and on the administrative side, most recently serving as their Director of Events and Marketing. Her time there gave her a deep understanding of how meaningful programming, community connection, and thoughtful communication can transform the lives of families navigating special needs.
Her heart for this work didn’t begin in a workplace or boardroom, it began at home. Lindsay’s childhood included an adopted brother who is legally blind and on the autism spectrum, giving her a lifelong, firsthand understanding of what families like yours truly need: to feel seen, supported, and never alone.
Beyond the nonprofit world, Lindsay is no stranger to building and leading. She and her husband William have co-owned and operated multiple businesses, including a carpet cleaning franchise, a local shaved ice business, and a marketing company they continue to run today. That entrepreneurial experience brings a rare and practical edge to her leadership as she knows how to grow something from the ground up.
Lindsay was already a familiar face in the DSAT community long before stepping into this role. As a former board member and a Buddy Walk participant for over 10 years, she has walked alongside our families, literally and figuratively. She and William have been married for 13 years and are parents to three kids: JJ (10), Berkley (9), and Trip (6).
As Executive Director, Lindsay’s vision is to expand programs and opportunities that equip and connect these families, because every family deserves a community that shows up for them.

Executive Assistant
Amy has served as Executive Assistant since February of 2025. She has substantial administrative and event experience, alongside her great knowledge of DSAT and our community.
She and her husband, Thad, have been married for 10 years and have two wonderful kids: Avery (18) and Chance (7). Her families journey with DSAT is truly special, as many DSAT members have known their son longer than they have. When Chance was first placed into a foster home, it was actually with one of our DSAT families. Amy and Thad then adopted Chance through foster care in 2019. Even before Chance joined their family, they were welcomed by the DSAT community. From diapers provided by DSAT members to celebrating Chance’s Adoption Day, the kindness and support they received have left a lasting impact.
Amy has been actively involved in our organization since then, both as a parent and as a Board Member. Amy is honored to continue serving the community that has been there for her family from the start.
